The Barcelona magician Lionel Messi has laid a record to become the all time highest goal scorer in a single team, after beating the record holder Pele.
Lionel Messi who levelled the record after scoring the second goal against Valencia on Saturday afternoon, has finally been crowned as the highest goal scorer in a single club after scoring his 644th goal in a game against Valladolid.
Pele who scored 643 goals in Santos has always been the all time highest goal scorer in a single team, but the crown has been moved to the new king Lionel Messi.
in an interview with Messi after the match he said “I never knew a record was coming until when people around me made it clear to me, that was why I declined the transfer move...... I know it’s possible for me to beat the record, so I have to stay, Although my next move is between me and the board........ merry Christmas”.
