UK under tension as Delta variant cases continues to spread across the country
Following the report from the Public Health England, it was confirmed that the country now has over 250,000 Delta variant cases with infections rising by 17 per cent in just one week.
A total of 253,049 confirmed and probable cases of the Covid-19 mutation first identified in India have now been identified in the UK.
That's up by 36,800 from 216,249 cases in the previous week.
Although the government are working hard to make sure everybody gets vaccinated as that will also fight the spread of the deadly Delta Variant.
