The Governor of lagos state Babajide Sanwo olu has ordered all civil servant to resume back to office on monday Nov 2, irrespective of their level.
Due to the nation wide lockdown to control the spread of covid 19 in march 2020, every sector where ask to work from home, after the easing of the lockdown level 1 to 12 where ask to remain at home while they work from home.
The governor has directed all staffs who where ask to work from home to resume back to their offices on monday.
Governor Sanwo-Olu made it clear in a circular titled: “Re: Further easing of COVID-19 lockdown, with Ref. No: CIR/HOS/’20/Vol.1/115, issued by the Office of the Head of Service and dated October 30, 2020, asked them to resume.
Head of Service, Muri Okunola signed the circular, and sent to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government in the state.
The circular stated that: “Sequel to the informed recommendation of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and the State Ministry of Health advisory, it is hereby notified for general information that Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved that all public servants on salary Grade Level 1- 12, who were directed to work from home since March, 2020 resume at the office with an immediate effect from Monday, November 2, 2020.”
