Minister of Gender and Child Affairs reacts to the death of three children who died in fire accident

The Minister Of Gender and Child Affairs Ayanna Webster-Roy has reacted to the death of the three children who lost their lives in a fire accident.

Due to Ayanna’s role in the country, she has expressed her condolences to the Burke family, who lost three of their children in a tragic fire at their home at Rookery Nook Maraval.

According to Ayanna, she said “As a parent of three young children myself, I cannot imagine the indescribable feelings of loss and pain experienced by this family at this time, after losing their children in such sudden and unfortunate circumstances. I pray that Almighty God wraps them in His arms and showers them with His comfort and peace,” the Minister said.

She added: “The life of every child is precious and irreplaceable and even as we mourn the loss of these three precious souls, I wish their family and loved ones continued strength during this time of bereavement.”
