Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has reacted to the defeat this evening after his 21 winning streak could not scale through the walls of the Red Devil’s.

Although his reaction wasn’t a pained one, instead he praised the players for a good job all the way, during an interview with sky sport.

He said “We lost and that will be the news, but the real news is 21 victories in a row, because we played a good football but the goal wasn’t coming.”

Manchester City were beaten for the first time since November 2020 when they where defeated by Tottenham 2-0, ending a run of 28 games without defeat across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Among the 67 managers Pep Guardiola has faced more than three times across all competitions as a top-flight boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjær is the only one with a better head-to-head record after winning 3 out of their last 4 premier league games.
