Following the information gathered by shegze from the Health officials of Bahamas, about 130 people has been tested positive of the deadly Corona virus taking the number of cases to 16,141 with 2,640 active cases.
According to the breakdown of the health officials, 117 cases from New Providence, six from Grand Bahama, one from Abaco, one from Bimini and Cat Cay, two from Eleuthera, two from Exuma, and one from Andros.
The health officials also confirmed the death of an 83-year-old woman on August 10, taking the number of Covid19 death cases to 311 with another 38 under investigation.
The government of Bahamas are working earnestly to curb the spread of the deadly disease, as provision for the covid19 vaccine are made available for citizens.
