Covid19 updates as Bahamas corona virus cases hits 18,335 despite the country’s vaccination pace

Bahamas covid19 cases keeps spiking despite the rate at which the government are mandating the citizens in the country to get vaccinated.

According to The Bahamas Ministry of Health, 67 new Covid-19 cases was reported on Monday, making it a total number of 18,335 cases.

Although positive report about the eradication of the deadly virus keeps gaining momentum in the country as 14,710 people has recovered from the deadly virus altogether.

There are now 406 deaths, following the latest victims from NP, and one each from Mayaguana and Long Island. They died between August 24-27.

There are 170 hospitalized cases, 12 patients are being treated in the ICU and the remaining 158 cases are considered moderately ill.
