The formal Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reacted to how the ligue 1 giant Paris saint Germain, are trying to make a move to land the Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi, claiming that it’s so disrespectful to go for a big name who is far above this planet.
He told shegze.com in an interview that “bidding for a world class player like Lionel Messi is just to much no matter who they are.
“Messi is far bigger than Paris saint Germain, and they trying to buy Messi, is like trying to empty there club, and they won’t be able to fill it back anytime soon.
“If I can emerge the position of the next Barcelona President, I will do everything within my power to keep Lionel Messi in Barcelona, cause a player like him can never be found anywhere, every learned coach and president will never allow such a player to leave, cause his the most perfect player I’ve ever seen on earth”He said.
Joan Laporta is a Catalan politician and former president of FC Barcelona between 2003 to 2010, also he will be facing Toni Freixa in the forth coming Barcelona presidential election.
