Philip Brave Davis a flag bearer of the progressive liberal party PLP has defeated the Incumbent Prime Minister Hubert Minnis after a general election few hours ago.
Dr Minnis who accepted defeat few hours later has cemented the victory of the newly elected Prime Minister.
According to Brave Davis who address the People after his Victory was officially declared, He said “I want to thank everyone who voted for me and my party, I will make sure you won’t regret it.
“Those who voted to the PLP today, I promise to enhance and Justify your trust in us.
“Those who voted for other parties today, I pledge to clear your doubt.”
Bahamas newly elected Prime Minister will be addressing the country later today and also set up his governmental cabinets in other to have a good result during the tenor.
